| * Lead and manage the merchandising team to ensure seamless communication between buyers, production, and other internal departments. * Manage product development from concept to shipment (both knit and woven). * Build and maintain strong relationships with international buyers, ensuring clear communication of requirements and expectations. * Negotiate with buyers regarding price, quantity, and delivery timelines, ensuring optimal profitability and meeting client needs. * Identify and develop new business opportunities and global buyers. * Align market trends and customer feedback with product strategies. * Forecast sales, analyze performance, and present reports to senior management. * Guide, mentor, and develop merchandising talent. * Collaborate with production, sourcing, and planning teams to ensure timely delivery. * Oversee fashion forecasting, sustainable sourcing, and product innovation. * Take ownership of costing, pricing, and achieving business targets. |
