Job Context
Job Responsibilities
* Responsible to optimize the productivity focusing production efficiency improvement and cost reduction with effective utilization of industrial engineering principles, methods, tools and techniques.

* Review skill assessment of new recruited workers of textile and also review salary fixation based on skill.

* Set Manpower Budget of Garments as per Plan Requirement & Proceed Requisition for recruitment if needed for shortage or replacement.

* Coordinate to keep update skill matrix of all workers.

* Find out standard capacity, review current trend of capacity utilization and take steps to optimize it.

* Observe installed loading capacity of dyeing & finishing machines in kg.

* Make study and set an achievable loading capacity of dyeing and finishing machines in kg.

* Make study and set an achievable loading capacity of dyeing and finishing machines in hours per kg (which will follow a generic formula).

* Make study and set maximum percentage of loading in dyeing and finishing machines based on various type of color and fabrication against installed capacity.

* Make time study and set standard processing time (SPT) of required processes of dyeing and finishing for each fabric item (color with fabrication).

* Make an efficiency and a performance study of dyeing and finishing machines and also make an comparison study of dyeing/ finishing machines.

* Make a detail comparison report analyzing installed capacity, achievable capacity, achieved production, used hours, lost hours etc,

* Make SPT report (with required processes and SPT for each processes) of dyeing and finishing for each fabric order.

* Measure & Analyze product/material, process/operation, cycle time, processing time and set method and time standard.

* Coordinate to reduce NPT consulting all responsible department.

* Reduce non value adding activities & drive to create Standardization and Simplication of Process.

* Facilitate and promote kaizen events into the factory.

* Prepare and implement master rollout plan to train all employees to develop their skills.

* Set KPIs for measuring factory performance and Plan to improve the performance.

* Undertake continuous process improvement initiatives such as Lean/JIT, Six Sigma/ TQM, TPM etc as an companywide problem solving campaign scheme by forming small groups/ cross functional teams/ QC circles.

* Build up small groups or team or circle with specific objective, monitor, assess the groups keeping in mind sustainable system development.

* Take necessary study and step to develop sustainable system to enhance overall Performance, waste and cost reduction.

* Drive continuously to reduce wastes, delays, variations and defects from the processes.

Additional Requirements
Age 30 to 40 years B.Sc. Engineering in IPE/Textile from reputed public or private university. At least 8/10 years of experience in IE at Textile- Dyeing & Finishing, Knitting section. Having Knowledge on Lean Six Sigma will get preference.
