| Job Responsibilities |
| * Nature of Job: Contractual Staff (Initially for 02 years). * Job Purpose: The Admission & Career Counselor will be responsible for leading the overall admission and career counseling department at UIST-Dhaka. This role must ensure sustainable growth in admissions, maintain the UPMIS Software and Admission Portal of UIST-Dhaka. Additionally, the position involves visiting industries to build good rapport for institutional development. * Key Job Responsibilities: * Ensure outstanding growth and consistency in admission. * Motivate students for admission in UIST. * Perform outreach programs in schools. * Keep relations with school teachers and prospective students. * Manage inventory of communication materials. * Phone counseling to prospective students & teachers. * Physical counseling to the visitors. * Maintain BTEB admission portal. * Keep record of all admission files. * Maintain database of admission. * Visit industry for internship and placement activities of UIST. * Maintain database of industry visit, placements & internships. * Counsel 7th & 8th semester students for career planning. * Keep liaison with HoDs for admission, internships & placement. * Coordinate the placement & internship activities with the Job Placement Cell of the Regional Office. * Maintain UPMIS portal & database. * Assist Principal in raising funds for the institute. * Proactive participation in different programs and development initiatives of UIST. * Any other duties/work assigned by the management from time to time. * Safeguarding: UCEP Bangladesh is dedicated to creating a safe and respectful work environment, free from any form of misconduct such as sexual harassment, exploitation, abuse, lack of integrity, and financial impropriety. | Age at most 35 years The age limit for the applicant would be maximum 35 years. Management has the right to make exceptions based on qualifications. Excellent presentation skills in Bangla & English. Willing to visit schools and industries. Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) & ICT skills. Writing and typing skills in Bangla & English. Motivational skills. Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Enthusiastic, responsible, and committed to success. Honest and must have integrity & transparency in every work. |
